An appointments system is in operation for doctor, practice nurse and health care assistant appointments. You can make an appointment by ringing 08444 773304 from 8.00am Monday to Friday.
Routine appointments for the doctors can be booked up to ten days in advance and three months in advance for nurses.
We have appointments available each day for urgent or acute problems: if you require one of these appointments please inform the receptionist.
Our telephone lines are very busy first thing in the morning but we have a new telephone system that will tell you where you are in the queue and you can decide whether to hold or call back later.
When you telephone, you can request one of several different types of appointments:
• Doctors appointment - routine pre-bookable or 'on the day'
• Telephone consultation with a doctor - routine pre-bookable or 'on the day'
• Practice nurse appointment.

Please make an appointment with the nurse for any of the following: Dressings, removal of stitches, cystitis, ear infections, vaginal infections, throat infections, hay fever, contraception, cervical smears, smoking cessation, overseas travel advice and vaccinations, childhood vaccinations and health advice for parents of young children, blood tests, blood pressure monitoring, healthy heart monitoring, asthma and diabetes. If you are in doubt, seek the advice of the nurse in the first instance and she will refer you to a doctor if necessary.
If you work and find it difficult to attend the surgery during the day you can book an appointement at the extended access GP clinic at the 1829 building at the Countess of Chester Healthpark. This offers routine appointments every evening from 6.30pm to 8pm and on a Saturday morning. Call 01244 364700 to book an appointment.
We would like to remind our patients that our normal Doctors appointments only last 10 minutes. You can request a longer appointment if you have several problems to discuss.
