OUT OF HOURS
When the surgery is closed and you need urgent medical attention please call 01244 385300 to be connected to the Out Of Hours Service.

Calling the surgery direct on 08444 773304 when we are closed will also connect you to the Out Of Hours GP service.

Please restrict these calls to genuine emergency problems

Home Visits

If you are housebound or too ill to attend the surgery, please telephone 08444 773304 before 10.30am (if possible) to request a home visit.

Requests received after midday will normally be visited the following day unless medically urgent. The receptionist will ask the nature of the problem so that the doctors can visit the most urgent cases first.

Not all requests will result in a home visit by the doctor. The doctor may phone the patient to discuss the problem and an alternative to a home visit may be agreed.

For clinical reasons it may sometimes be to the patient's benefit to attend the surgery.  Provided the doctor and reception staff are made aware of the urgency of the problem, the patient can be put in a room and seen by a doctor as soon as possible.
